Whorl No. 03 is an original medium-scale abstract expressionist painting in a single acid chartreuse acrylic — a yellow green so saturated it reads almost neon against the raw white canvas. The form unspools in four loose horizontal arcs before narrowing into a tapering tail at the bottom, as if the gesture ran out of ground before it ran out of momentum.

It is the simplest painting in the series, but possibly the loudest!
