Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Framing

We offer framing because it is convenient – eliminating the need for a separate trip to the framer's. Additionally, a frame serves as a protective barrier for your art, safeguarding both the artwork and your investment. Handling prints with bare hands can transfer oils, while rough treatment poses a risk of surface scratches and pigment damage.

Where do you ship?

Domestic flat-rate shipping is available for shipping throughout the contiguous US.

We can ship to Hawaii and Alaska too, but due to increased costs, rates for these states will be dynamic similar to international shipments.

Please note, we can not ship to PO boxes due to the size of our shipments.

International Shipping

Yes, we do offer international shipping for unframed prints via DHL. The international shipping cost will be displayed in your cart during checkout. Please note that this price does not include tax and duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Kindly allow an additional week for delivery. Regrettably, framed prints are not shipped internationally at this time due to the associated high shipping costs. It's important to mention that ArtStar does not engage in any up-charging or profit from international shipping.

We cannot guarantee transit times for international shipping.

Not liable for any damage or loss that may happen during international shipping and will not provide a replacement to the recipient.

International Tax & Duty Notice:

Upon arrival in the destination country, local regulations may apply, potentially subjecting your order to import taxes and local duties. These charges are not integrated into your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer. We are prepared to assist with any necessary communication or information exchange with customs if applicable.

Are you hiring?

Not at the moment.

I studied as a printmaker. Intaglio, block, screen. In printmaking, you work in states: pull a proof, cut more into the plate, pull again.

I paint the same way, additive and subtractive. Layers go down, then I take the
wall sander to the whole thing and flatten it out — what survives is the next state. Water as resist. Combs dragged through wet paint. Then a resin coat.

Before this, I spent years in art department in New York and LA — set design, prop-styling — on commercial and film shoots. That work was about surface and
delivery. Both are still in the paintings.

The originals are one of one. There's no second pull. Prints are limited, archival
pigment on paper, taken from the same-numbered original.

The WHORL PAINTINGS are all made using custom brushes and mark-making tools.

The color palette often pulls directly from the natural world outside my studio door.

The WHORL collection is available as limited prints & unique paintings.
